Initiatives for next-generation energiesBiodiesel Fuel
Biodiesel fuel differs from petroleum and other fossil fuels because it is made from plant-based oil, making it environmentally friendly. The plants used as the raw materials for bio fuels absorb CO2 from the atmosphere as they grow, which means they don't introduce additional CO2 into the atmosphere.

Recycled heavy oil
We sell recycled heavy oil used as boiler fuel, etc., which is made by recycling waste oils, primarily lubricating oil.

Carbon offset fuels
This package includes carbon credits attached to existing fuel oils (kerosene, diesel, heavy oil). It is possible to offset the CO2 generated during combustion using equivalent credits.

Solar power
Through the Solar Power Business we turn sunlight into renewable electricity. We operate five solar power plants across Japan with a combined output of around 7.9 MW, enough to power 2,144 homes for a year.
